Nigerian Comedian, actor and movie producer, Bovi Ugbomma, simply referred to as Bovi has  revealed that he would declare Naira Marley's Malians and BBNaija's Tacha Titans as Terrorist Organizations if he becomes president of Nigeria. Bovi declared this during a question and answer session with his fans on his Instagram page after he gave his fans the chance to ask him questions. A fan asked what he would do if he wakes up as the president of Nigeria. The comedian replied that he would declare Marlians and Titans as a Terrorist Organisation. This year, two controversial celebrities, Naira Marley and Tacha Akide, seemed to gain serious recognition on social media as they are greatly admired and highly favoured by many fans. They also had the most talked about fanbase on social media.

A Lagos court has ordered Naira Marley to appear before it as a bench warrant would be issued for his arrest if he fails to comply over car theft charges leveled against him. Naira Marley is standing trial over an alleged car theft alongside his two brothers; Idris Fashola, 18; Babatunde Fashola, 24 and one Kunle Obere, 22. They are facing a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing arrest. The order was given by Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias today and  he said a bench warrant would be issued for the rapper’s arrest if he fails to appear before the court on January 14, 2020. They were arraigned on December 16, but Marley was absent. Although, the court granted the three defendants N500,000 bail with two sureties in the like sum, a Tinubu chief magistrates’ court in Lagos ordered that Naira Marley should be arrested and arraigned over the alleged car theft. Nigerian rapper, Jude "MI" Abaga, simply referred to as MI has cautioned Senegalese-American singer, Akon against referring to Wizkid as his little brother. Akon and Wizkid has performed together at the AfroNation concert in Ghana and Akon shared a photo of them on stage with the caption, "Me and my lil bro @wizkidayo at AFRONATION Ghana!" Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido was spotted in a furious state after his N10.8M wristwatch got stolen in Ghana following the AfroNation concert he attended. The singer had decided to spray money on some fans when  a thief got the better of him and stole his wristwatch. Davido had arrived in Ghana on Monday, December 30, for the AfroNation concert but decided to party at Acetantra nightclub in Osu. Superstar singer, Ayodeji Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has reportedly rejected a statue that was gifted to him by a dedicated fan with speculations that the statue was ‘ugly’. In a bid to express his love for the singer, a loyal fan went out of his way to make a statue for him but it appears Wizkid's exquisite taste does not tally with some of his fan base. Starboy boss and singer, Wizkid has reacted to the tragic death of one of his fans who was shot and killed by a police officer on his way back from the "Starboy Fest" concert in Lagos. Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman had reported on his Instagram page that a police officer identified as Lukmon Akanbi had shot a fan of Wizkid in cold blood on his way back home from Wizkid's concert which took place on Thursday, December 26, 2019. According to Ruggedman, the fan identified as Ramon Babatunde Adeniji was killed by Lukmon on Friday, December 27, 2019. Veteran Nigerian singer, Anthony Olanrewaju Awotoye  popularly known as Tony Tetuila and Ghanaian singer, Tic Tac have sued Wizkid for the sum of N30million over the copyright infringement of their 2004 hit song, Fefe N'efe. Confirming the lawsuit, Tetuila released a statement on his tweeter page that both him and Tic Tac were suing Wizkid and DJ Tunez at the Nigerian Federal High Court for violating their intellectual property rights of their song, Fefe N’ efe because Wizkid's single, “Gbese” produced by DJ Tunez, has some content from the 2004 hit song. Controversial artiste, Naira Marley has revealed that he made N60 million this week alone from shows booked. He made this known via his Instagram page while showing off his cars in his garage. It should be recalled that Naira Marley was earlier dragged to court over an alleged car theft this Tuesday, December 17 alongside two of his brothers and his cousin. Naira Marley's brothers, Idris Fashola, 18, Babatunde Fashola, 24; and his cousin, Kunle Obere, 22, were granted a N500,000 bail with two sureties in like sum after facing a four-count charge bordering on conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the arrest of Naira Marley. Hours after musical artiste, Duncan Mighty was arrested by the Imo state police for alleged N11m fraud, he has once again regained his freedom and taken to social media to celebrate. The Nigerian social media was thrown into a frenzy in the early hours of December 14, 2019 when it was reported by celebrity barman, Cubana Chiefpriest  in a now deleted post on his Instastory  that singer Duncan Mighty had been beaten up and carried away by unknown gunmen in Owerri before the Imo state police reacted to the news and claimed the singer was not abducted but arrested for an alleged N11m fraud. Nigerian Lawyer, Olisa Agbakoba (SAN) made it known to members of the press that Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel will not perform at his December 26, 2019 concert as the artist's 'brand' still belongs to his former label, G-Worldwide. Speaking in his capacity as the legal representative of G-Worldwide to the press on December 13, 2019, he disclosed that Kizz Daniel has pending matter at the High Court to determine the state of his contract with G Worldwide even though he releases music under his own record label, Flyboy Inc.
