MI CAUTIONS AKON AGAINST REFERRING TO WIZKID AS HIS LITTLE BROTHER

Nigerian rapper, Jude "MI" Abaga, simply referred to as MI has cautioned Senegalese-American singer, Akon against referring to Wizkid as his little brother. Akon and Wizkid has performed together at the AfroNation concert in Ghana and Akon shared a photo of them on stage with the caption, "Me and my lil bro @wizkidayo at AFRONATION Ghana!"

The "lil bro" tag however didn't go down well with MI as he took to twitter to caution Akon about addressing Wizkid as his brother. He told him to chill with the little brother talk.

His response, however, led to a heavy backlash on the microblogging platform, as many noted that Akon was well within his rights to refer to the Nigerian singer as such, because he was older than him by age and even in his achievement as a musician.

Although some internet users pulled up some of Wizkid’s old tweet in which he had referred to Akon as his big brother but MI maintained his stance that Wizkid is nobody's little brother as it is his own opinion.
