The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos has granted popular Nigerian artiste, Naira Marley bail  in the sum of  N2 million.  At the bail application, Naira  Marley's  lead defense counsel, Olalekan Ojo,  apologized for his absence on May 20,  at  the initial arraignment due to heavy down poor. Ojo also pleaded with the court to accept the bail application Prima Facie based on the presumption of his innocence in accordance with Section 162 (1) and that a liberal approach should be taken in hearing the bail application. The prosecution counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo however, made it clear that it is the final judgment that mattered and not the temporary release of Naira Marley. He also implored the court to grant accelerated hearing rather than bail stating that Naira Marley's actions and inactions have a multiplier effect on youths in the entire federation because of his celebrity status. TV personality, IK Osakioduwa turned 40 over the weekend and he hosted a large number of celebrities to his "Game of Thrones" themed birthday party. Celebrities were in their elements as they all rocked costumes depicting different characters in the TV series. Omoniyi Temidayo popularly known as Zlatan Ibile has taken to his Instagram page to send an emotional message to his friend, Naira Marley who is still in EFCC custody. It should be recalled that Zlatan was arrested alongside Naira Marley and four others a few weeks ago by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for cyber crime. However, while Zlatan and the others were released a few days after, Naira Marley was arraigned before a Federal High Court in Ikoyi. Zlatan posted a video which he captioned with an emotional message; He captions; "People can hate and judge! But can never change GOD’s plan concerning ones LIFE !!! Naira Marley has been arraigned before a Federal High court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos by the men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday, May 20, 2019 for alleged cyber crime. While his lawyer was absent at the court, the singer however pleaded 'Not Guilty' to all the charges and has been remanded in prison until May 30, 2019 when his bail application will be heard. If found guilty, Naira Marley faces seven years imprisonment or a fine of not more than N5,000,000.00 and forfeiture of the advantage or value derived from his act.

A new video has emerged online showing two loving best friends, Tiwa Savage and Starboy Records boss, Wizkid, all loved up and having the best times in an undisclosed location. In the video, Wizkid is seen spanking Tiwa's bum and she was however enjoying and loving the gesture. "Issa Goal" crooner, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley risks 7 years in jail as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has filed an eleven count charges bordering on credit card fraud against the "Am I A Yahoo Boy Singer". He risks going to jail if found guilty according to Section 33 (2) which he was accused of breaching, reads: “ Any person who uses: a counterfeit access device; an unauthorised access device; an access device issued to another person; resulting in a loss or gain commits an offence and shall be liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of not more than seven years or a fine of not more than N5,000,000.00 and forfeiture of the advantage or value derived from his act. Naira Marley will be arraigned on Monday, May 20, 2019 with suit number FHC/L/178C/19 before a Lagos State High Court.                                                                                                                                 

Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has joined the league of Nigerian artistes signing record deals with international record labels as she has decided to leave Don Jazzy's Mavin records to continue her musical career with Universal Music Group which is an American music company that boasts of artistes like Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. Tiwa deleted all pictures on her Instagram page and posted a picture of herself and Sir Lucian Charles Grainge CBE, the  Chairman and Chief Executive officer of Universal Music Group. Following legal threats issued by Nigerian actor, IK Ogbonna to a woman simply identified as "Bold_pink on Instagram for calling him gay and demand the he comes out of the closet with who he truly is. Controversial actress, Tonto Dikeh has called out Ik for mentioning her son on social media and also threatens to expose him.
