NAIRA MARLEY APPEARS IN COURT, TO BE REMANDED IN PRISONS AFTER PLEADING NOT GUILTY TO ALL CHARGES

Naira Marley has been arraigned before a Federal High court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos by the men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday, May 20, 2019 for alleged cyber crime.

While his lawyer was absent at the court, the singer however pleaded 'Not Guilty' to all the charges and has been remanded in prison until May 30, 2019 when his bail application will be heard.

If found guilty, Naira Marley faces seven years imprisonment or a fine of not more than N5,000,000.00 and forfeiture of the advantage or value derived from his act.
