Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has joined the league of Nigerian artistes signing record deals with international record labels as she has decided to leave Don Jazzy's Mavin records to continue her musical career with Universal Music Group which is an American music company that boasts of artistes like Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. SHAKIRA WINS TWO AWARDS AT THE 2019 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS

Colombian music star, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, popularly known as Shakira has won two Billboard Latin Music Awards out of the four nominations she received. Shakira won the  Top Latin Albums Artist, Female and Latin Pop Artist, Solo to her recognition. Other nominees under the Top Latin Albums Artist, Female category were Rosalía, Mon Laferte and Karol G. Meanwhile the Latin Pop Artist, Solo included Enrique Iglesias, Marco Antonio Solis and Sebastián Yatra. Alhough, the mother of two was unable to make it due to health reasons, according to her Instagram stories, she took to the app to thank her fans and her team with a post celebrating her win.

American gospel musician and pastor, Travis Montorius Greene, popularly known as Travis Greene recently welcomed a baby boy and the third child with wife, Jacqueline Gyamfi Greene.
