RIHANNA WANTS SHAGGY TO AUDITION BEFORE HE FEATURES ON HER NEW ALBUM

Legendary dancehall artiste, Shaggy has disclosed that he refused the offer to audition to be on Rihanna's new album because he believes that he is much too established to have to audition to feature on the album. The title of the much-anticipated album is confirmed to be R9.

The 51-year-old dancehall star revealed to Daily Star that he was approached to feature on Rihanna's upcoming album, R9 and he was asked to audition in order to qualify to feature. He however, declined the offer.

According to Shaggy; "They approached me for the Rihanna project, yeah. There's a lot of great people involved but for me I didn't need to audition to be on the record, I'll leave that to younger guys."

This revelation however, did not sit well with social media users as some tagged it as a disrespect to Shaggy who has not only been around longer than Rihanna, but paved the way for stars like herself while some believe she was simply being a businesswoman considering she is the hotter artiste between the two of them.
