Months after her exit from X3M music, Simisola Ogunleye popularly known as Simi has floated her own record company. She took to her Instagram page to share the news. She wrote; " The norm is to do a formal and proper press release, with big, impersonal words – but this is me and you. We started with true laughs, constructive criticism, silly jokes and personal moments. We’re gonna keep it that way. All I’ve ever wanted was to live my dreams – to do it on my terms, but for you. Each step I’ve taken has brought me here. This is only the beginning of the best part of my journey. I hope that you stand with me, fight with me, love with me and grow with me. 

MO ABUDU TO CHAIR 47TH INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARDS GALA

Nigeria's media mogul and movie producer, Mo Abudu who was elected as a director of the International Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences has been chosen to chair the 47th International Emmy Awards Gala slated for November 25th, 2019 in New York. The announcement was made in an Instagram post on Tuesday and the film producer also took to her Instagram page to share the good news. NAIRA MARLEY RECOUNTS PRISON EXPERIENCE, PLANS TO HELP INMATES

"Am I A Yahoo Boy" crooner, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley who recently regained his freedom has taken to social media to  share his prison experience and has also vowed to help other defenseless inmates. After he was released, he engaged with his fans on social media sharing some of the things he discovered in prison on his Instastory.  He also stated that he cannot singlehandedly change the situation of things in the country but with joint effort, the change can happen. He wrote, "I have to help a lot of ni**gas I met in jail. I met one guy, he has been in jail for 9 years, never been to the court, as in they haven't even found him guilty. What if he is not even guilty? I met another nigga in jail. Been in jail for over two years because he was in a relationship with one rich woman's daughter and the woman locked him up for not leaving her daughter," .

NAIRA MARLEY FINALLY RELEASED AFTER MEETING BAIL CONDITIONS

Embattled singer, Naira Marley has finally been released on bail after meeting up with the conditions for bail 14 days after his court appearance. Recall that Naira Marley appeared before Justice Nicolas Oweibo of the Federal High Court, Lagos on Thursday, May 30, 2019,  and he was granted bail on the conditions of; a N2,000,000 bond, and two sureties, one with a landed property and the other, a Civil Servant, not lower than a level 10 officer. Naira Marley was arrested on Friday, May 10, 2019, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) alongside Zlatan Ibile, Rahman Jago, Guccy Branch and one other person over fraud related charges. Although, Zlatan Ibile and the others were freed few days later, Naira Marley remained in the EFCC's custody until he was granted bail.
