Colombian music star, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, popularly known as Shakira has won two Billboard Latin Music Awards out of the four nominations she received. Shakira won the  Top Latin Albums Artist, Female and Latin Pop Artist, Solo to her recognition. Other nominees under the Top Latin Albums Artist, Female category were Rosalía, Mon Laferte and Karol G. Meanwhile the Latin Pop Artist, Solo included Enrique Iglesias, Marco Antonio Solis and Sebastián Yatra. Alhough, the mother of two was unable to make it due to health reasons, according to her Instagram stories, she took to the app to thank her fans and her team with a post celebrating her win.

The Founder of BHM Group and Chairman of the Nigerian Entertainment Conference, Mr Ayeni Adekunle has announced that the conference will become a three-day event from 2020. He made the statement while speaking at the opening ceremony of this year’s edition of the conference, #NECLive7 held at the Landmark Centre, Lagos. He also hinted at the possibility of hosting the conference across multiple cities in Nigeria — spread across Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. He said that the expansion was necessary given the number of people outside Lagos who have expressed the difficulty they face in trying to attend the conference in the city. American gospel musician and pastor, Travis Montorius Greene, popularly known as Travis Greene recently welcomed a baby boy and the third child with wife, Jacqueline Gyamfi Greene.
